Why clear details matter

Marine repair scope depends on vessel condition, access, materials, and the repair method. Sharing clear information helps BCS respond thoughtfully. An estimate request does not confirm an appointment or a final price.

Helpful information to include

  • Vessel type and a general description of size or style when known.
  • General location (for example, Fort Lauderdale or another South Florida area) — not a private slip number.
  • A plain-language description of the damage or finish concern.
  • Well-lit photographs that show context and detail.
  • Any known access constraints, marina rules, or timing preferences.

What happens next

BCS may request additional photos, ask clarifying questions, or recommend an inspection when appropriate. Free estimates are available only in the Fort Lauderdale area; other locations may require review or travel arrangements.
